Judith Anyango Odero, 33 years harbored a strong passion for pursuing a career in hospitality. However, her dreams were initially thwarted by financial constraints, preventing her from accessing formal education in the field. Growing up in a financially strapped environment, Judith faced numerous challenges in pursuing her aspirations. Despite possessing a burning desire to enter the hospitality industry, the inability to afford school fees became a significant roadblock. This predicament left her feeling disheartened and unsure about her prospects. Nevertheless, Judith remained determined to find a pathway to fulfill her ambitions.

Fortuitously, Judith’s journey took a positive turn when a friend introduced her to the CAP YEI program. This initiative, designed to empower economically disadvantaged individuals by offering skills training and employment opportunities, appeared to be the lifeline Judith desperately needed.

With her newfound opportunity at hand, Judith wholeheartedly committed herself to the CAP YEI program. Through rigorous training sessions and hands-on workshops, she acquired essential skills and knowledge vital for a career in hospitality. From learning the intricacies of customer service to mastering the art of food and beverage management, Judith embraced every learning opportunity with enthusiasm and dedication. Her unwavering resolve and eagerness to excel set her apart as a standout participant in the program.

As Judith progressed through the CAP YEI program, her hard work and determination caught the attention of industry professionals. Consequently, she was offered an internship position at Tripple O Hotel, a prestigious establishment renowned for its excellence in hospitality services. Thrilled by the prospect of gaining real-world experience in a reputable organization, Judith eagerly accepted the internship opportunity. In this role, she continues to demonstrate her passion, diligence, and eagerness to learn, proving herself as a valuable asset to the hotel’s team.
